*Who is the person behind Underland?*

Hi! My name is Louise, and I'm a 33 year old Scottish WAHM with a love for most things crafty! I go into a bit more detail in the About section about how Underland Creations came to exist, but I also share a lot of behind the scenes snippets over on Facebook and Instagram too if you ever fancy knowing more about me and my work!

*Is this your full time job?*

Yes it is! Alongside looking after my two gorgeous munchkins (with help from my lovely husband!).

*What material(s) are your jewellery and accessories made from?*

Everything is handmade from Polymer Clay! In terms of the jewellery, for all new stock I'm exclusively using 316L surgical steel for the findings and 304 stainless steel for the jump rings. The reason for this (and the reason you won't find any silver or gold in the shop) is because I myself have extremely sensitive ears and I went YEARS not being able to wear any jewellery because even sterling silver and gold used to flare up my allergies. Until I discovered surgical steel, which was an absolute game changer. Now I just want to share the joy with my fellow allergy prone folk, so I'm making sure that everything I make from now on is as hypoallergenic as I can possibly manage 💜

*What is Polymer Clay?*

Well, it's not like what you probably think of when you hear the word "clay". Polymer clay turns into a type of plastic when baked/cured, which means it is very durable and strong. It's also very lightweight, which makes it ideal for making those quirky accessories!

*Do you make clip on earrings?*

Yes! I do give the option to change the findings from hooks/hoops to the "invisible" plastic clip on findings on most styles (obviously not on studs). Just remember that, although they are sturdy, they may struggle to stay attached with the bigger/heavier styles of earring.

*How long will my order take to arrive?*

I aim to post all orders within 3 working days of receiving them, and all delivery timescales should be listed on the checkout page for full transparency! If you have any further questions though you can find all details over on my Shipping and Deliveries page.

*Do you take custom commissions?* 

At the moment I won't be putting a custom option on the site, however if you would really like me to make something custom for you just give me a message and I can let you know if it would be possible! 😊

*Do you do discount codes?*

I wanted to have an automatic Free UK Shipping offer for any orders over £40 (and give International orders £4 off orders over £40 to make it fair!), but unfortunately there was no way of me seperating out my UK and worldwide customers.

SO, instead I've added a 10% off any orders over £40. This should cover shipping costs for my UK based folks, and also give everyone else a wee discount too! 😊 I am also known to sometimes slip the odd discount code into people's orders as well for next time!

*My order hasn't arrived, can I get a refund?*

In the unlikely event that your order doesn't get to you, please get in touch! Unfortunately if it was sent untracked I won't be held liable for any orders that go missing, but I'll work with you so that we can come to the best solution!

*Do you have an email subscription list?*
